Duties: Responsible for Tutorials. Two days/week times 13 Tutorials at 2hrs each; sets assignments (not graded); Produces and posts solutions; preparation Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Must have previously taken this course or equivalent.

ECSE 211Design Principles and Methods Ferrie, F. & Lowther, D. Marking/Demoing/Other 9 at 90 hrs each
Duties: Work is divided in 2 phases of 6 weeks each. The first consists of marking/demonstrating 5 one week laboratories. In the second each TA oversees 2 design teams as they prepare their final project. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Applicant must either have taken ECSE 211 or be highly skilled in the design and implementation of embedded systems. Advanced knowledge of JAVA, particularly cuncurrent programming, is required.

Duties: - Prepare and deliver 2 1hr tutorials/week Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Duties: TAs are needed for laboratory demonstrations/supervision: implies lab duties of 4 hours each week and help with invigilation during the midterm exam. Duties: Reviewing problems similar to assignment and exam problems with students. Brief exposition and review of relevant course material. Tutorial experience very useful; clear presentation skills crucial; ability to work cooperatively with instructor concerning content, timing, etc, of tutorials essential. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Research involving probability in communications, signal processing, etc, is the most likely background for the tutor for ECSE 305.

Duties: The candidate will have to prepare and give 1-hr tutorials weekly and help grade exams and assignments. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. The candidate should be familiar with the material taught in ECSE-306 and have taken more graduate courses in signal processing or control systems.

Duties: Delivering a weekly tutorial on different topics related to the course and helping the students with the course projects. Maintaining a content management service (CMS) on the course server. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Must be familiar with Java, Java Swing/SWT, javadocs, JUnit, UML, distributed version control (git and mercurial), and SQL. Experience with IDEs. Should have experience in administrating a Linux server. Preferably have previously taken or TAed this course or equivalent. The course TA should also apply for the project grader position.
