Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Must have thorough knowledge of the ECSE-200 course material - circuits. Contagious enthusiasm for circuits highly desirable. ECSE 211Design Principles and Methods Giannacopoulos, D. & Lowther, D. Marking/Demoing/Other 9 at 93 hrs each
Duties: Developer: This course is under development. Demonstrator: This course is lab-intensive and definitely hands on. It is also a first year course. Demonstrators are needed to introduce the students to the kit and the various hardware and software tools they will be using. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. ECSE211 is a course in design offered to first year students. Laboratory demonstrators will assist students performing experiments with the Mindstorms NXT robotics kits, evaluating performance and grading lab reports. Preference will be given to applicants having experience with hardware (microprocessors, digital electronics) and software (C/C++, assembler), and to applicants who have previously been a TA for ECSE 211.

Duties: Delivering two tutorials every week. Assisting with exam preparation. Holding office hours. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. The TA should be very comfortable with material from Signals and Systems. Ideally, the TA will have taken ECSE 511, ECSE 512/412 and ECSE 501/404 or equivalent, and have TAed 303 or 304 in the past. ECSE 305Probability and Random Signal Leib, Harry Tutoring 1 at 101 hrs
Duties: Reviewing problems similar to assignment and exam problems with students. Brief exposition and review of relevant course material. Helping invigilate the midterm. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Research involving probability in communications, control, image processing, etc, is the most likely background for the tutor for ECSE 305. Tutorial experience very useful; clear presentation skills crucial; ability to work cooperatively with instructor concerning content, timing, etc, of tutorials essential. ECSE 306Fundamentals of Signals & Systems Champagne, Benoit Tutoring 1 at 83 hrs
Duties: Assist instructor in preparing material for tutorials. Present material, answer student questions and review their work during tutorials. Provide office hours to answer student questions.
