Duties: Work with professor to prepare class tests, quizzes, solution sets and marking schemes; coordinate with the course Grader to manage the marking of the class tests and quizzes; provide office hours to meet with students for class test and quiz grading questions. Help with invigilation of all class tests and quizzes. Requirements: Previous experience with both preparing and grading class tests is strongly preferred. A graduate student is required for this TA position.

Duties: Work is divided in 2 phases of 6 weeks each. The first consists of marking/demonstrating 5 one week laboratories. In the second each TA oversees 2 design teams as they prepare their final project. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Applicant must either have taken ECSE 211 or be highly skilled in the design and implementation of embedded systems. Advanced knowledge of JAVA, particularly cuncurrent programming, is required.

The TA should be very comfortable with the material in Signals & Systems 1 and 2. Preference will be given to students who have TAed 303 or 304 in the past.

Duties: During scheduled tutorials: Brief exposition and review of relevant course material. Solving related problems with students and answering questions. In addition: TA may be called to provide office hours to answer student questions individually. Duties may also involve some marking. Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Tutorial experience very useful; clear presentation skills crucial; ability to work cooperatively with instructor concerning content, timing, etc, of tutorials essential. Research involving probability in control, communications, signal processing, etc., is the preferable background for the tutor for ECSE 305.
